"The Lord Jesus Christ has blessed me to be in in a big show at the Smithsonian, which should be starting next year, underwritten by Pepsi, www.art-search.net. It's for Martin Luther King - a traveling exhibit, but I don't know where it's going, yet. I didn't really expect them to pick my painting, but they did. There were hundreds of entries and they've excepted 150 of them. It's a thrill. I wrote a long artist's statement to explain the work, and my agent's hoping they'll print the whole thingin their catalogue... "
"Finally, a couple acrylic on canvas paintings of mine, just sold in New York, so I'm thankful and elated about that. Ususally, it's been works-on-paper that have gone, over there. The hottest spot in the entire artworld, around the planet, seems to be the Chelsea district in Manhattan, and I'm still waiting to get in it. But the best news is that the Lord is really using me out here in San Francisco, to help bring people to repentence. It's funny how eternal life in the city of heaven can be guarenteed with a prayer, in less than a single minute." |
